The South Alabama Jags defensive stars did not receive an invitation to the Senior Bowl, which is being held this weekend in Mobile, AL.
However they did get invited to the play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl all-star game at Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. for the American team.
This will get the two an opportunity to showcase their talents for the NFL scouts and coaches.
Scott and Johnson will become the second and third South Alabama players to participate in a postseason all-star game.
Wide receiver Courtney Smith, who played in the 2011 Senior Bowl, was the first.
Johnson, lead the Sun Belt Conference's in tackles with 131 total stops and a first-team all-conference selection.
Scott, the Jags' top secondary player who had 84 tackles and earned an honorable mention spot on the all-Sun Belt team say they believe the chance to play in the game will pay dividends for them in their hope of playing in the NFL.
